Seeking Exceptional Dental Office Administrator
We're seeking an exceptional Receptionist for Community Dental Center. Your role: provide warm caring service, manage patient appointments, maintain records, process billing, and handle calls with professionalism. We are looking for someone with strong organizational abilities, exceptional communication skills, and an ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure. Experience in a dental/medical reception role is a plus but not essential.
Your role would include:
- Ensuring every patient feels welcome and comfortable, creating a positive first impression.
- Scheduling appointments with attention to detail, maximizing efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Excelling in telephone etiquette—answering and managing calls promptly and professionally.
- Maintaining patient records with strict confidentiality and precision.
- Navigating billing and insurance claims with accuracy and efficiency.
- Coordinating effectively with the dental team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Our ideal candidate is:
- A high school graduate or equivalent. Completion of a recognized medical office administration, business administration, or related program is preferred but not essential.
- Experienced in a dental or medical reception role (but not essential). We're looking for someone with the right attitude and exceptional skills.
- Knowledgeable about dental terminology, billing, insurance claims, and patient confidentiality—or willing and able to learn quickly.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in office software and the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and dental practice-management systems.
- An exceptional communicator, both written and verbal.
- Unflappable under pressure, with an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive, friendly, and professional, with the ability to make patients feel at ease.
- Equipped with outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
