Job Overview:
We are seeking highly motivated Owner Operator Drivers to join our team. As an Owner Operator Driver, you will be responsible for operating your own commercial vehicle to transport freight to various locations. Duties:
- Safely operate and maintain your own commercial vehicle
- Transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Inspect and maintain the condition of your vehicle, including performing routine maintenance and repairs
- Load and unload freight as necessary
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
- Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably as an owner operator
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, such as forklifts, is a plus
- Basic automotive repair skills are preferred
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on the road
- Must have the ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed
