We are currently seeking a Drilling Administrator to join our Calgary office.
Reporting to the Manager, Drilling Operations, the Drilling Administrator plays a key role in
supporting drilling operations through regulatory administration, data management, invoice
processing, and operational coordination. This is a full-time, office-based position with
occasional after-hours support required for time-sensitive operational activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit regulatory applications, notifications, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate required reporting and maintain awareness of regulatory requirements.
- Maintain well records, operational databases, and electronic documentation.
- Manage filing systems, SharePoint content, and distribution of operational information.
- Process field tickets and invoices, verify supporting documentation, and resolve
discrepancies.
- Liaise with vendors and support invoice-related processes and training.
- Coordinate onboarding/offboarding, contractor records, and PPE requirements.
- Assist with training materials, team events, and general administrative support for the
Drilling Operations team.
- Perform other administrative and operational support duties as required.
Qualifications
- 1–5 years of administrative, operations support, or oil and gas industry experience
preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Wellview, OpenInvoice, or similar
industry systems is considered an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach.
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.
