Job Summary
This position is responsible for manufacturing high quality fiberglass products by preforming various production processes, including mold preparation, fibergalss lay-up, resin application, trimming, assembly, and quality inspection. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- -Prepare molds for production by cleaning, waxing, and applying release agents
- -Cut and prepare fiberglass materials according to production specifications
- -Apply fiberglass mat, cloth, resin, gelcoat and other materials using established manufacturing procedures
- -Preform hand lay-up, spray-up, and laminating operations
- -Remove completed products from molds without causing damage
- -Trim, grind, sand, and finish fiberglass products to required specifications
- -Assemble components and install hardware as required
- -Preform repairs and touch-ups on fiberglass products when necessary
Quality Control:
- -Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality standards
- -Identify and report defects, material issues, or production concerns
- -Verify dimensions, finish quality, and product specifications
Safety and Housekeeping:
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices
- Properly use personal protective equipment, including respirators, safety glasses, gloves, etc
- Safely handle resins, catalysts, and other production materials
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Participate in safety meetings and training programs
Technical Skills:
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, and production specifications
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, sanders, and production equipment
- Basic measurement and math skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and preform repetitive tasks throughout the workday
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous fiberglass manufacturing experience
- Experience with hand lay-up, spray-up, or laminating procedures
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
