Job Overview
As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will lead the on-line marketing efforts for 5 brands using new media and digital tools. Your responsibilities include designing digital media campaigns aligned with our product introduction efforts along with establishing a compelling digital footprint. You will need to be able to manage end-to-end digital projects by liaising with Marketing. You will need to be able to monitor ROI and KPI’s.
The role is for the community management for the brands.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Content Creation-writing blog posts, articles, newsletters, communication material and materials for social media channels.
- Planning digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, email, and display advertising campaigns.
- Social Media Marketing- Creating, managing, and growing the company’s presence through blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and other strategically relevant online properties.
- Customer relations- You will be answering questions from customers and ensuring that customer’s inquiries have been satisfied through phone, e-mail, twitter, and other social vehicles.
- Communications/marketing strategy- this person is responsible for creating strategic marketing/communications that interface with campaigns and all traditional marketing mediums.
- Solid design and conceptual skills.
- Strong knowledge of page layout and photographic requirements.
- Strong knowledge of printing/publishing procedures and standards.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective deadline management and project management skills.
- Strong interpretive skills to analyze technical information and create illustrations.
- This person will be responsible for Google analytics and other measurement tools that will gauge the success of initiatives.
- Setting up monitoring tools such as tweet deck, etc.
- Routes requests to the right people within the organization
- Provide one-on-one attention with the issues needing to be resolved outside the community settings.
- Announces new features and cheers on the accomplishments of both the company and its customers.
- Absorbs the emotional temperature of the community to monitor health, satisfaction and engagement.
- Willingness to work beyond normal business hours as social outlets are active 24/7
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
- Will be measured on customer acquisition through all social channels and platforms.
- Creative Quality and turnaround time.
- Level of meaningful Engagement and conversation with customers
- Returning guests to the corporate site
- Quality of content created and quantity.
- Return on Investment on digital campaigns (ROI)
JOB REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
Communications diploma/degree with a strong writhing background ideal
- Marketing background is helpful but not mandatory
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience managing social platforms
- Proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Suites
- Well versed in the latest graphic design methods, practices, techniques, and associated principles.
- Versed in social monitoring and growth platforms
- Versed in google analytics
- Versed in Google My Business
- Versed in social platform analytics
- Versed in social management platforms (i.e sprout social, etc.)
- Versed in SEO/SEM
- E-mail marketing campaigns
- Ability to measure campaigns
- Certification in Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and/or SEO/SEM Digital Analytics or equivalent knowledge utilizing SEO tools, optimization tactics, testing and web analytics gained through experience implementing and optimizing Google AdWords campaigns
- Experience writing SEO content for websites and blog
