Air unlimited is in search of a Parts Specialist. The successful applicant will be a self-motivated individual with excellent organizational and communication skills who will be assigned a variety of duties. They will be responsible for staffing the parts desk, purchasing all materials and parts, inventory control and providing consistent and reliable support to our customers. With their technical and organizational expertise, they will play a definite key role in enhancing our corporate image and reputation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive telephone or in person orders for parts and provide accurate pricing of parts and accessories using the proper pricing structure along with process sales or other transactions
- Fill customer orders from stock and place orders when requested items are out of stock
- Receive payment for orders by card or cash, obtain credit authorization, process sales or other transactions
- Read manuals or conduct research to determine replacement part stock numbers and prices and advise customers on substitutes or modification of parts
- Issue Purchase Orders when required to all Air Unlimited staff
- Assist customers such as responding to customer complaints and updating customers on back-ordered parts
- Explain technical product or service information to customers
- Keeps the parts department organized and maintained and monitor inventory levels
- Arrange pickup and delivery of parts when required with warehouse staff
- Other duties as assigned
