Description of the Role
Place-Crete Systems Ltd. is seeking a hardworking, reliable, and safety-conscious Labourer - Gypcrete to join our growing team. The successful candidate will assist with various construction and site preparation activities, support equipment operators, and help maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist crews with construction and Gypcrete related projects.
- Load, unload, and move construction materials and equipment.
- Perform site setup, cleanup, and general labour duties.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and crew leaders.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Previous construction or labour experience is an asset but not required.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 80 lbs.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Valid driver's license is considered an asset.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Safety is a top priority at Place-Crete Systems Ltd. Employees are required to wear and maintain the following PPE:
- CSA-approved steel-toe boots
- Hard hat
- High-visibility safety vest
- Safety glasses
- Work gloves
- Additional PPE as required for specific tasks
