Millennium Insurance is looking for an experienced Licensed Insurance Agent Level 2 to join our growing team. In this role, you will use your insurance licence to support customers with questions about our products and coverage, particularly in British Columbia, while also spending a significant portion of your time adjudicating ancillary claims that do not require an insurance licence.
We are looking for someone who currently holds a BC Level 2 General Insurance Licence, or an Alberta Level 2 General Insurance Licence and is eligible to obtain the equivalent Level 2 licence in British Columbia.
This is an opportunity to combine your insurance knowledge with hands-on claims experience by providing clear and accurate information to customers, reviewing coverage, adjudicating ancillary claims, and helping ensure claims are handled accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with policy terms.

- A licensed insurance professional: you hold a BC Level 2 General Insurance License or an Alberta Level 2 General Insurance License and are eligible to obtain the equivalent license in British Columbia.
- Experienced in claims and customer service: you have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in insurance, claims, automotive, dealership, or customer service.
- Direct experience with ancillary products or claims is considered an asset.
- Knowledgeable about insurance: you have an understanding of insurance policy wording, coverage interpretation, claims practices, and applicable provincial insurance regulations.
- Automotive dealership experience is considered an asset.
- Detail-oriented and organized: you have strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple claims, inquiries, invoices, and administrative tasks.
- A strong communicator: you have previous experience with frontline customer interaction by telephone and/or email and are fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in French is considered an asset.
- Comfortable with technology: you possess intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel, and are comfortable working with electronic claims and administrative systems.
- Flexible and dependable: you are able to work a rotational Saturday and Statutory Holiday schedule as required.
- Successful completion of employment, credit, criminal, education background checks including employer reference and verification before employment is required.
Within your first six months, you will be a reliable and knowledgeable member of the claims team who provides responsive customer service, accurately interprets coverage, and processes ancillary claims and payables efficiently and accurately.
Success in this role means you:
- Manages general incoming calls/emails/faxes as required by the nature of the call/email.
- Log all calls/inquires/claims.
- Responsible for the review of pictures ensuring loss is coverable under the terms of the policy.
- Review of requested pictures to confirm the legitimacy of a claim.
- Review of estimates confirming labor rates, hours, part prices and related estimate requests.
- Return authorizations for covered claims or respond to non-covered claims with the reason of denial.
- File all approved claims manually or electronically.
- Responsible to match all incoming invoices with backup for payment, insert the required information, calculate the amount paid including a breakdown of tax(es) and enter the claim as paid.
- Processing all Tire, Key Etch, and Chemical claims including payables of each.
- Processing aged claims authorized but never received.
- Sourcing of outside sources to keep claim cost at a minimum (aftermarket).
- Other duties as assigned.
