Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. Ensures the timely payments of vendor invoices to fully capitalize on cash discounts.
Codes and enters expenses and product invoices;
Ensures payment terms are respected as well as payment type (check, EFT, etc.);
Reconciles Central Billing, external third party and intercompany payables
Responsible to resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices;
Reconcile vendor statements and open purchase orders (weekly accruals);
Research and resolve aged purchases orders/invoices and follow-up;
Scan miscellaneous documents related to accounts payables;
Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
Complete other related tasks to accounts payables
Respects policies and procedures as per FAMM
Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.
Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.
Perform other duties as assigned.
1-year progressive experience within accounting and/or finance, with knowledge of accounts payables
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred accounting or business-related post-secondary education
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Bilingual (English & French) an asset
