DeAngelis Development. is currently seeking an experienced Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician to join our growing team!

For the available position, you will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
- Diagnoses and repairs of our fleet of tractor trailers in a safe and timely manner
-Diagnoses of heavy equipment including but no limited to: graders, crusher, skid steers, loaders, excavators, packers, mulchers, etc
- Performing preventative maintenance inspections and repair work
- Working with dispatch to schedule maintenance and repairs on all equipment as required, in between jobs
- Carrying out annual Pre CVIP inspections on both trucks and trailers
- Maintaining records of supplies and parts picked/used in conjunction with closely monitoring the material required for restocking of the shop
- Completing required documentation, such as work completed documents, , time sheets all while maintaining quality documentation via handwritten forms
- Staying in Compliance with provincial rules and regulations as well as company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
To be successful, you must possess a Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician
- Truck and Transport Mechanic ticket.
- Operate and maintain heavy duty equipment
- Red Seal not mandatory but experience in truck, trailer repair it is a must.
Furthermore, you should have all related Safety Tickets up to date and available for copies upon hiring.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence with a clean 5-year Driver Abstract
It would be considered an asset to have a valid Class 1 or Class 3
In addition, you must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the following competencies:
