RJames Western Star (a division of RJames Management Group Ltd.) offers sales, maintenance and repair of heavy trucks and semi-trucks. We are seeking a Heavy-Duty Truck Detailer to join our team at our Calgary shop (3555 46 Avenue SE).
The Detailer will be responsible for ensuring both new and used trucks are cleaned, polished and protected.
DUTIES
- Cleans and brings a shine to the truck’s paint, chrome trim, windows, wheels and tires
- Interior detailing involves thoroughly cleaning the inside – vacuuming, air purging of the nooks, headliner cleaning, prevention of glass streaking, plastic care, dash boards, console crevices, stain removal, odor elimination and the cleaning and conditioning of all vinyl and leather
EXPECTATIONS
- Knowledge of compounds, cleaners, waxes, polishes and bi-products
- Able to rub trucks with heavy compound, wax, wetsand, brush touch
- Able to operate carpet cleaning machines and pressure washers
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 6 months of detailing experience
- This position is physically demanding; manual dexterity, ability to stand for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads are required
- Air Brake Endorsement is an asset
- Class 3 or class 1 license is preferred
