Greenway Greenhouse Cannabis Corporation is looking to hire for the position of General Farm Labour/Greenhouse Labour.
This is a permanent, full time position which requires working on weekends and holidays when necessary.
Greenhouse Location: 1102 Mersea Road 5, Leamington, ON
Nursery Location: 1478 Seacliff Drive, Kingsville, ON
Job Duties:
Planting crops; harvesting crops; crop maintenance (winding, hooking, de-leafing, shucking, trimming); clean work areas; check crop for pests or disease and for any quality issues; greenhouse cleaning; cutting flowers from branches during harvest; potting and repotting plants; propagation; transplanting; sanitize workspace, growing areas and materials; packaging and weighing
Job requirements:
Ability to work well under pressure; ability to work as part of a team or individually; attention to detail
No education or experience necessary as we will train all employees
Job Environment:
Working under hot, humid conditions; long hours may be required when harvesting and cleaning; must be able to lift weight of 50lbs; prolonged walking, standing, lifting and bending; must be able to work on weekends and holidays if required
Employees may be required to perform other related duties to accommodate ongoing needs of the company
