Duties
- Support lead teachers in implementing daily activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of children
- Assist with supervising children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring safety at all times
- Help facilitate classroom routines such as meal times, naps, and transitions between activities
- Engage children in age-appropriate learning experiences that encourage exploration and creativity
- Provide compassionate caregiving to meet individual needs, including comforting distressed children or assisting with personal hygiene
- Observe and document children's progress, sharing insights with teaching staff to support personalized learning plans
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards
Skills
- Prior classroom experience working with young children in early childhood settings
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued
- Strong teaching abilities that inspire curiosity and foster positive behavior
- Deep understanding of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Proven caregiving skills with patience, empathy, and attentiveness to children's needs
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families

Pay: $19.60 per hour
