Aqua City Cleaners is hiring an experienced casual janitor for fill-in shifts. Job is Monday-Friday mornings at 9am for 5.6hrs/day and based out of Esquimalt. Pay is $25/hr.

Qualifications
- 2 years janitorial experience
- WHMIS Certification (or able to obtain one, we will pay for it).
- Must be able to pass a Criminal Record Check (with finger prints).
Responsibilities:
- Cleans offices and communal areas, including bathrooms, kitchens,
- Replenishing supplies as needed
- Sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors; cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
- Dusting furniture and equipment
- Washing walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
- Keeps utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition.
- Disinfects and sterilizes equipment and supplies.
- Stocks cleaning cart with supplies.
- Empties wastebaskets, and transports trash and waste to disposal area.
- Ensures with maintenance that trash and dumpster areas are clean.
- Completes maintenance work orders for any maintenance repairs needed.
- Reports resident issues or changes in health or living status promptly.
- Reports potentially unsafe conditions or maintenance related issues promptly to Supervisor.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
