We are currently hiring experienced painters for year-round or seasonal Road Maintenance Positions involving Road Painting, Crack Sealing (summer months), and Snow Removal (winter months). This posting is for NIGHT SHIFTS (overnight work).
Job Details:
Position Type: Seasonal & Permanent, Full-time or Part-time
Shifts: Night shifts / overnight work
Location: Halifax, NS and surrounding areas
Employment: Long-term employment opportunity available
Key Responsibilities:
Road painting and pavement markings (using airless spray equipment)
Crack sealing and asphalt maintenance
Snow removal operations (winter)
General road maintenance duties
Following established safety procedures and guidelines
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous line painting / pavement marking experience
Requires dependable transportation as hours do not overlap with public transit.
Previous construction or related industry experience
Highway Safety Traffic Course certification
Traffic Control experience
Experience with airless spray equipment
Class 3 Driver's License with Air Brake endorsement
