Please Note: This role requires reliable transportation to travel between worksites and/or throughout the community as part of regular job duties. Applicants must be able to meet the travel requirements of the position. Minimum 45 working hour per week, overtime pay over 85hours/bi-weekly.
About the Role
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Framer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work on residential and light commercial construction projects, completing framing work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in craftsmanship, and works well in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct and assemble wood framing for residential and light commercial projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building specifications.
- Measure, cut, and install framing materials accurately.
- Build walls, floors, roofs, stairs, and other structural components.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with crew members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications
- Previous framing or general construction experience is preferred.
- Ability to read a tape measure and use common construction tools.
- Physically capable of lifting, working at heights, and performing repetitive physical tasks.
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation is required. Employees are responsible for getting to various job sites, which may change depending on project needs.
- Steel-toe boots and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
