A pillar of the transportation field in Montreal, our client has been supplying shipping services in the furniture industry for more than 40 years. Due to a dramatic rise in business activity, it has required us to get the best as a foundation for a massive expansion in the food industry and the medical industry.
Operation of a 20-22ft long cube truck for frequent transport of furniture, comestible merchandise and medical supply throughout Québec and occasionally to Ontario.
Trips (round-trip) last less than a full day most of the time but occasionally last up to two days.
The truck driver will be supported with industry-leading equipment and a coordination center at all time for efficient operations and support in case of issues. On the other hand, he is required to show independent problem-solving capabilities, coordination capabilities and discipline in case issues arise. He will be allocated a budget for travels of more than a day for housing, food and medication that he will have to manage (and will be unaccountable for its use towards the company).
