Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations and diagnose health issues in small animals, including pets and exotic species when applicable
- Perform medical procedures such as vaccinations, dental cleanings, surgeries, and emergency treatments with precision and care
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and educate pet owners on preventative care and wellness strategies
- Maintain accurate medical records, documenting all findings, treatments, and follow-up instructions clearly and thoroughly
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient care
- Stay current with veterinary best practices by participating in continuing education opportunities and applying new knowledge to practice
- Assist in laboratory testing procedures when necessary, utilizing laboratory experience to interpret results effectively
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
- Demonstrated laboratory experience preferred to support diagnostic processes
- Strong communication skills for explaining diagnoses and treatment options to pet owners
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Pay: $85,638.39-$160,045.81 per year
