Job Summary:
As a Supervisor at Harvey’s, you play a key leadership role in supporting daily operations, maintaining service standards, and guiding team performance. You will help oversee shifts to ensure smooth execution across all dayparts — opening, midday, and closing — while maintaining an exceptional guest experience through hands-on support, coaching, and operational focus. Full availability and strong leadership skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Guest Experience:
- Lead by example in delivering friendly, engaging service and high-quality food.
- Support team onboarding, training, and performance coaching.
- Monitor service flow and jump in as needed to resolve bottlenecks and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and promptly, escalating issues when appropriate.
Operations & Shift Management:
- Supervise assigned shifts, ensuring operational checklists and standards are met.
- Delegate and monitor team responsibilities across all workstations (grill, garnish, cashier, drive-thru, etc.).
- Conduct food safety and sanitation checks throughout the shift.
- Complete opening and/or closing procedures in accordance with brand and safety standards.
Administrative Support:
- Assist in monitoring inventory and restocking to ensure shift readiness.
- Operate and oversee POS functions, including cash handling and shift reconciliations.
- Communicate shift handover updates and team performance highlights to management.
Opening Duties (As Scheduled):
- Lead pre-shift setup, including equipment checks, food prep, and team briefings.
- Ensure cleanliness and readiness across all areas of the restaurant.
- Perform temperature logs and sanitation verifications.
Closing Duties (As Scheduled):
- Oversee the full shutdown of operations, ensuring cleanliness and security.
- Conduct final walkthroughs, equipment checks, and reporting procedures.
- Support team in end-of-day cleaning and organizing tasks.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a quick-service or fast-paced restaurant environment is required.
- Prior leadership, key-holder, or supervisory experience is a strong asset.
- Must have full availability across various shift types (early morning, midday, evenings, weekends, and holidays).
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- A hands-on leader with a positive attitude and team-first mentality.
