Job Summary
We are seeking Skilled Labourers and experienced Carpenters to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of building, renovation, and restoration tasks across commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, construction, and related trades, with the ability to work with a range of tools and materials.
Duties
- Perform framing, cabinetry, flooring, finishing and other tasks required by Supervisor
- Able to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings, would be an asset
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively
- Heavy lifting of materials and equipment to support project needs while maintaining safety protocols
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects within specifications
Skills
- Experience in using carpenter hand tools, and power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to read technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at various heights
