We are currently accepting applications for an experienced and dedicated COMMUNICATIONS TECHNICIAN to join the Vincent Communications Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport, install, program, and troubleshoot cellphone booster products, SCADA data radios and repeaters, voice radios and repeaters, microwave data radios and links, access points and peripheral hardware like Wi-Fi access points, switches, routers, and arbitrators.
- Identify, select, and use proper communications testing equipment based on job requirements.
- Working at heights using various equipment such as ladders, aerial lifts, scaffolding, and man baskets.
- Travel long distances to and from different locations which may require overnight stays.
Required Experience and Education:
- Technical field experience in Communications / Telecom industry
- Tower rigging and climbing experience an asset.
- Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is considered an asset.
- Technology degree or diploma an asset.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with an acceptable Driver’s Abstract.
Required Skills:
- Class 5 driver’s license with acceptable drivers abstract.
- Basic understanding of computer fundamentals.
- Must be physically fit and be able to safely lift 55 lbs.
- Basic understanding and safe use of hand, air, and power tools.
- Strong English communication skills with the proven ability to communicate with respect and professionalism.
- Strong problem-solving skills and use of good judgment in response to unexpected problems.
- Reliable and dependable.

- Hourly rate ranges between $20.00/hour – $45.00/hour - Compensation will be based on a combination of experience and education.
- Overtime paid after 8 hours/day and on weekends.
