North Home Landscape Management is searching for an experienced on-call tractor snow plow operator for our John Deere 6430. There is no salting/brine application or shoveling required – strictly snow plowing. A successful candidate will have a valid Ontario Driver’s License and proven parking lot/yard snow removal experience of large commercial and industrial sites. This is an on-call, seasonal position with the opportunity for full-time, permanent employment should you be interested in landscape and property maintenance. What You Need to Know:
- Servicing commercial/industrial parking lots locally (Caledon, Brampton, Mississauga)
- *Must be on-call and available from November 15th to April 15th*
- $25-$35/hour dependent on experience and skill-level
- $1000-$1500/month guaranteed stand-by pay
- Hourly, Paid Direct Deposit, Biweekly
Requirements:
- Responsible for operating a John Deere 6430 tractor snow plow for snow removal within parking lots and yards of commercial and industrial clients.
- Willing to work outdoors in winter weather conditions including snow, slush, ice, freezing rain, hail, and sub-zero temperatures.
- A high and steadfast commitment to personal safety and the safety of others.
- Understand and follow all contractual requirements of clientele, including response time, route maps, documentation, etc.
- Travel to various sites/locations within the Caledon, Mississauga and Brampton cities.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- 1-2+ years of proven tractor snow plow removal experience.
- Strong work ethic, reliable.
- Evidence of good attendance with previous employers.
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License a requirement.
- Ability to stand, lift 50 lbs, carry, bend, reach, climb.
- Highschool diploma an asset
- AZ or DZ license an asset
