We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nightclub Manager to oversee the daily operations of PEI's first 2SLGBTQIA+ Friends and Allies Night/Social Club.
Located in Charlottetown, we are looking for folks that support and believe in our project. Together we are making a difference in peoples lives, every day.
The ideal candidate will be a team player, responsible for ensuring the business is organized and running smoothly during the day.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all nightclub operations during daytime hours.
- Manage staff including bartenders, security personnel, and service staff, providing guidance and support.
- Manage biweekly payroll.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including balancing registers and managing cash flow.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all legal regulations related to alcohol service and crowd control.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests and staff alike.
- Plan and execute special events or themed nights to increase attendance and engagement.
- Monitor inventory levels for bar supplies and coordinate with vendors as needed.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or nightclub operations.
- Strong background in customer service with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Knowledge of guest services standards and hospitality best practices.
- Experience with cash handling, POS systems, and financial reconciliation.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Must have a valid Responsible Beverage and WHMIS Certificate.
- Must be able to work in Canada
Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
