The basics:
Must hold an up-to-date Food Handler Certificate recognized by Public Health (30 days to take course and pass, from start date)
Must have 4 or more years' experience in restaurant industry
Must have own slip resistant shoes in good condition
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Provide a safe and healthy work environment
- Ensure health and safety protocols are followed in the restaurant
- Complete any health and safety incident reports and report to Owners
- Follow the steps within the health and safety policy
- Implement policies and protocols as assigned by Owners
- Perform weekly quality inspection of the restaurant in terms of food quality, cleanliness and standardization
- Resolve customer complaints and rectify issues to provide the highest level of satisfaction
- Monitor the daily production of the entire staff along with creating a high team spirit
- Manage and control store inventory by updating inventory, tracking sheets and placing orders
- Analyze the daily labor and sales costs in accordance with the set targets by using Toast app
- Maintain all necessary employee records with the use of 7shifts app
- Prepare staff schedule on the basis of projected sales and labour data on 7shifts
- Assist marketing team in setting up posters, testing deals and making sure deals are working on POS system
- Communicating to your team all marketing updates and any necessary changes
- Provide any required training for marketing campaigns
- Monitor the performance of staff members and provide feedback to enhance the overall productivity
- Responsible for handling Online delivery apps, Delivery, and Toast merchant platforms
- Hire, onboard and train new team members
- Work with the training leader to ensure the staff are fully trained
- Responsible for refund sheets, and customer feedback and ratings
- Review meeting agenda which includes: last weeks sales, labor, COGS, completed tasks on 7Tasks, and product loss
- Utilizing 7shifts for team member engagement and feedback
- Ensure all staff evaluation forms are completed based on their 30,60, and 90 day evaluations plus their yearly evaluations
- Responsible for planning and execution of catering orders and events
- Comply with all policies and procedures, while ensuring compliance among team members
- Completing all disciplinary actions in violation of company policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned
