Venue Manager Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Venue Manager to oversee the operations of our premier event space. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of venue operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth through innovative event planning and execution.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the venue, including maintenance, staffing, and customer service.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Manage event bookings, coordinating with clients to understand their needs and ensure successful event execution.
- Lead and train a team of staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote the venue and attract new clients.
- Handle financial management tasks, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
- Maintain and enhance the venue's reputation through exceptional service and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in venue management, hospitality, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Knowledge of health and safety.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
