Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of individuals in your community? We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as a Behaviour Technician, utilizing the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).
As a Behaviour Technician, you will play a crucial role in implementing ABA strategies to improve the lives of individuals with behavioral challenges.
Do you speak French? This position is about 30 hours / week Monday to Friday.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct support and assistance to individuals in their daily activities.
- Implementing behaviour intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
- Utilizing positive reinforcement techniques to promote desired behaviors.
- Assisting individuals in developing essential life skills and achieving their goals. Collecting and recording data to track progress and make informed decisions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require additional education or certifications).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A passion for helping individuals with diverse needs.
