Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Kitchen helper. This role involves preparing and serving food in a fast-paced take out/catering environment, ensuring high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent communication skills, and experience in the food industry. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive experience
- Handle food safely and maintain cleanliness in all food preparation areas
- Assist with food presentation and plating to meet quality standards
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation
- Maintain inventory levels and assist with stock rotation as needed
- Support team members during busy service hours to ensure smooth operations
Skills
- Experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service setting
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and the food industry best practices
- Kitchen experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
