Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kitchen Team Members to join our dynamic culinary team. We are looking for a person that will be able to work evenings during the school year., 2-3 times a week. As a Kitchen Team Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while delivering high-quality meals to our customers. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about food and eager to contribute to a fast-paced restaurant environment. Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred
Duties
- Assist in food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage practices.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
- Help with cooking tasks as needed, including grilling, frying, and baking.
- Support team members in various kitchen operations, ensuring timely service during peak hours.
- Participate in inventory management by assisting with stock rotation and reporting any shortages.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to help others on the team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for cooking and meal preparation is highly desirable.
