Job Description
We are seeking creative, dedicated, and empathetic therapists to join our growing team. As a holistic psychotherapist at BODYMIND Collective, you will provide virtual and in-person therapy services, drawing on integrative and somatic approaches to support our diverse clientele in their journey to well-being.
This is an independent contractor position and offers flexible scheduling with options to work in-person and hybrid at our Hamilton location (231 Main St W). We know how important feeling your best is in showing up as a therapist and want to support you in creating a healthy work-life balance.
Start Date: September 15, 2026
Responsibilities
- Conduct individual, couple, and/or family therapy sessions
- Utilize holistic and experiential practices, including somatic approaches, to support clients in achieving their goals
- Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that promote overall well-being
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Contribute to a supportive and inclusive practice environment
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent training in counselling, social work, psychotherapy or related field
- Current registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario or Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
- Professional liability insurance (or willing to obtain)
- Availability for a minimum of 1 in-person shift per week on Friday or Saturday (current clinic availability)
- Access to reliable internet and laptop
Ideal Candidate
- 3+ years of psychotherapy experience
- Experience using Jane or similar software
- Accredited training in somatic or experiential psychotherapy modalities for individuals or couples/families (e.g. Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotion-Focused Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Brainspotting, Focusing)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Commitment to inclusivity and experience supporting diverse populations
- Client-centered and trauma-informed
- Demonstrate personal and professional dedication to learning and growth

- Have lived experience as part of underrepresented communities in the therapy field, including but not limited to: neurodivergent, BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIA+, and/or male-identifying therapists
- Bring training or interest in body-based or somatic practices
