Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Casual Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide high-quality patient care across a variety of settings, including nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living facilities, and home care environments. Your expertise will support patients of all ages, from pediatrics to seniors, ensuring their health and comfort are prioritized at all times. Duties
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in diverse settings, including acute care, hospice, dementia care, and pediatric environments
- Administer medications accurately following established protocols and document medication administration in electronic health records such as Epic or Cerner systems
- Perform phlebotomy procedures and collect laboratory specimens with precision and care
- Monitor patient vital signs, assess symptoms, and provide pain management support as needed
- Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and daily activities to promote comfort and independence
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on case management plans to ensure holistic patient care
- Maintain detailed medical documentation using medical terminology and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
- Prior experience working in nursing homes, hospitals, or assisted living facilities is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience in acute care settings, dementia care, hospice or senior care is advantageous
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner is desirable
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and medical terminology is essential
- Experience working with children and in home care environments is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
