Job Description:
Our company is currently seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Quality Control Coordinator. This position will be responsible for order completion review, product inspection, managing incoming/outgoing shipments of raw material and customer orders, as well as inventory control based out of our welding shop.
Responsibilities:
- Review order pecific requirements as per customer purchase order and drawings
- Inspect completed orders for quality and accuracy
- Prepare completed orders for shipping and verify packing slip details
- Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against packing slips
- Inspect material for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly
- Safely unload materials using forklifts, cranes, or other equipment
- Organize and store materials in designated yard and warehouse locations
- Perform inventory counts
- Ensure proper labeling and identification of all materials
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies, including proper handling of materials
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in the welding and fabrication/manufacturing industry is an asset
- Ability to interpret drawings with strong attention to detail
- Ability to review and interpret shipping/receiving documents with accuracy
- Ability to drive a forklift
- Excellent organizational, time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Able to communicate effectively with team members and understand instructions, and follow directions
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team
- Physical stamina and ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
