Flatbed Transportation Company is seeking a Full-Time Truck & Trailer Mechanic to come & join our team!

Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Follow company health & safety policies
- Inspect trucks & trailers daily – preventative maintenance
- Repair mechanical breakdowns
- Working outside
- Knowledge of the proper handling of hand/power tool
- General knowledge of diagnostic scanning systems
- Record all work completed on work order form
- Issue PO #’s on all part orders
- Must be able to perform tire changes
- Must be able to work on Mack, Peterbilt, Freightliners & Manac Trailers
- Must have knowledge on DPF Systems, Electrical Systems, Air Systems, Fuel Systems & Brake Systems.
- Must be able to trouble shoot.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
- Must be motivated
- Must be a self-starter, productive and efficient worker
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must have your own equipment/tools
- $45.00 per hour starting wage more for the right candiate
Requirements:
- Immediate start
- 2 years experience working with heavy duty equipment preferred
- Welding & fabrication experience is considered an asset
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends when required
