Our Exterior Restoration Services (ERS) team in Ottawa is currently seeking Subcontractors who are experienced Roofing Installers.
What's the Opportunity?
As a self-employed subcontractor with KOTT, you will be paid bi-weekly for completed work.
KOTT supplies all required materials and coordinates garbage removal, allowing you to focus on the roofing installation.

- KOTT has secured large contracts with property management and condominium corporations throughout Ottawa and has a strong pipeline of upcoming roofing installation projects in the low-rise residential sector.
- Our Roofing Installation Supervisor is dedicated to allowing you to focus on installation work by assisting with site troubleshooting and acting as your liaison to help ensure accurate and timely payment for completed work.
- Occupational Health & Safety is a top priority at all KOTT workplaces and job sites. Our Roofing Installation Supervisor will help ensure all safety standards and procedures are followed on the sites where you work.
Your Day-to-Day
- Report to customer job sites to complete roofing installations as directed by the Roofing Installation Supervisor and/or Production Coordinator.
- Complete roofing work in accordance with customer specifications, manufacturer’s specifications, KOTT quality standards and all site safety requirements.
- Submit invoices for completed work.
What you need to succeed
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Roofing Installer
- Working At Heights certified (current)
- WHMIS certified (current)
- Good verbal communications skills
- Fluency in English is required; fluency in French is an asset

Rates for projects range from $1.75 to $11.00 per square foot
