Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating heavy-duty trucks over long distances to deliver freight efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, vehicle maintenance, and safety protocols. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse routes, ensuring timely deliveries across regions while maintaining high standards of professionalism and safety. Wages are competitive, paid by the km and drop. Health benefits available after 3 months.
Duties
- Safely operate large commercial trucks over long-distance routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using pallet jack and driver assist as needed
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company standards
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and freight manifests
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transit
- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to keep vehicles in optimal condition
- Ensure proper securing of freight to prevent damage during transit
Skills
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience in freight transportation and long-haul driving
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance for commercial drivers
- Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with GPS systems for route planning
- Physical ability to handle freight loading/unloading tasks
- Good communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and clients
This role is essential for maintaining efficient supply chains and delivering goods safely across regions. Candidates should be committed to safety, punctuality, and professionalism in all aspects of their work.

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
