Bookkeeper/Office Administrator

We are hiring a full time bookkeeper for our towing and plowing company. This is a permanent job based in our Lloydminster office. Duties include all aspects of bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, quarterly GST filing, monthly PST filing and offering general support to the field staff. Our ideal candidate is a personable, self motivated, detail orientated individual with good problem solving skills.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 bookkeeping experience (Required)
  • Must be proficient in Quickbooks Online, Outlook, Excel, Word, Cortex
  • Working knowledge of Saskatchwan PST rules and legislation (Preferred)
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills

Job Description:

  • Managing all incoming and outgoing mail
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
  • Enter invoices into Cortex and Quickbooks Online
  • Job costing and bid proposal drafting
  • Post general journal entries as required
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for monthly payroll and advances
  • Preparation and analysis of accounting reports using class filters
  • File GST and PST returns

Education:

  • Must be fluent in English
  • Must have and able to provide, upon request, Grade 12 diploma
  • Quickbooks Online and Desktop Certification considered an asset

Licence:

  • Drivers License (Class 5) (Required)

Salary:

  • $40,000.00 - $58,000.00/year based upon experience and education
