The Infrastructure team within Scientific Games Digital is the one building and maintaining our gaming infrastructure that serves customers across the globe. As Technical Operations Manager you will be managing teams within Technical Operations department. With Operations as your main responsibility you will manage staff in our Montreal office and operations in that time zone. The team's objective is to make sure we deliver the service to our customers within the agreed SLA and performance targets. We move fast when it comes to technology and how our products evolve so the ability to adapt and spot non-functional processes and procedures is key to remove any obstacles and ensure a lean operations. You will need to be a flexible team player with a passion for business and strive to always improve. Your security awareness and your accountability is important as we are operating under license in regulated online gaming markets.
Manage staff within the area of responsibility.
Ensure the staff follows procedures & processes, keeps documentation up to date and strive to always improve their ways of working.
Ensure training & mentoring of personnel is occurring to ensure all staff is acquiring the necessary skill sets to perform their job functions and meet departmental and individual goals.
Prior experience in leading technical engineering staff in a global environment
Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate your team members
Extensive prior experience of working with ITIL processes
Broad technical understanding and knowledge
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills required
Time management and prioritization skills
Prior experience of the online gaming industry
Prior experience of managing IT Operations teams
