Convergint is currently recruiting for a team-oriented, results-driven, Contract Administrator to join our amazing culture. Under direct supervision, the Contract Administrator will assist in all aspects including providing prompt responses to customers and colleagues, tracking and communicating subcontractor status, all while maintaining organization and efficiency within the legal/contracts department.

What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”

Assist with Master Subcontract Agreements, prequalification, insurance and WCB documents in accordance with our Subcontractor Management Plan.

Liaise with our legal team and escalate any contract issues to the appropriate legal resource.

Upload contracts for legal review to contracts database.

Obtain insurance certificates, bonds and supporting documents as required through review of RFP/contract requirements.

Assist Sales Team with Convergint FlexPay Lease Program.
-
Assist with obtaining signatures, track, mail and file all Canadian contracts and other necessary documents.
-
Assist with maintaining/tracking Provincial Licenses and renewals for all Canadian locations.
-
Manage Convergint’s security clearance program (ACSO).
-
Assist with safety prequalification submissions for RFQ and Project awards.
-
Book training sessions and tracking of all certifications for safety, trade and product for colleagues nationwide.

Assist with creating new safety programs and communications to the nation.

Acts as “our customer’s best service provider” at all times thereby ensuring Convergint is the customer’s first choice for service.

Executes all work in accordance with Provincial, local regulations, general best practices as well as company health and safety policies and procedures.

Communicates with and works with the other team members consistently to improve overall operations of the Convergint Technology Center, and company.

Keeps up to date and informed on all company policies.

Presents a professional image of Convergint at all times in appearance and behavior.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
What You’ll Need

Good interpersonal and verbal communications skills and ability to deal with a wide cross section of people both internal and external to the business.

Good Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills.

Some legal knowledge with respect to contracts, liens, insurance, bonds, etc.

Some accounts receivable knowledge.

Good customer service/care skills.

Strong attention to detail and results focused.

Strong team orientation.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and direction in a dynamic work environment.

Strong organizational/time management skills.
-
Bilingual candidates with French speaking preferred.
Requirements
-
College diploma in Business Administration, Accounting or similar program desirable; extensive relevant experience will also be considered.

Contract Management Certificate desirable.

Minimum two years of previous contracts administration experience.
-
Minimum one year of financial experience in a construction environment.
