Job Description
As a Game Master, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and creating immersive gaming experiences. Your primary responsibilities will include facilitating game sessions, ensuring all gaming equipment and environments are properly reset and prepared for new players, and accommodating walk-in customers while managing reservations and schedules efficiently. You will guide players through game rules, provide assistance as needed, and maintain a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. Strong communication skills, a passion for gaming, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and engage customers, providing a friendly and professional atmosphere.
- Reset game setups after each session to ensure readiness for incoming players.
- Accommodate walk-in customers, managing scheduling and reservations effectively.
- Explain game rules and play game story videos clearly to all participants.
- Take payments for game sessions and collect signed waivers and assign lockers to customers.
- Monitor gameplay to ensure safety and adherence to rules, offering assistance when needed.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Encourage players to participate in back-to-back games for an enhanced experience.
- Keep facility clean and tidy.
Qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Previous experience in customer service, gaming, or hospitality preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Passion for games and a good understanding of various game formats.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.25-$22.14 per hour
