Overview
We are seeking a proactive and engaging Student Enrollment Officer to join our educational institution. This role is vital in guiding prospective students through the enrollment process, providing essential information about programs, and ensuring a smooth transition into our academic community. Duties
- Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students, answering inquiries and providing detailed program information.
- Conduct engaging presentations and public speaking sessions to promote enrollment opportunities.
- Assist with the recruitment process by identifying potential students and guiding them through application procedures.
- Utilize Ellucian or similar student management systems to track applicant information and enrollment status.
- Collaborate with academic advisors and faculty to ensure prospective students receive accurate program guidance.
- Organize and participate in campus tours, open houses, and recruitment events to attract new students.
- Support the development of marketing materials and outreach strategies to increase enrollment numbers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of institutional programs, admission policies, and industry best practices.
Experience
- Prior experience in recruiting, student services, or educational settings is preferred.
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
- Familiarity with Ellucian or similar student information systems is advantageous.
- Background in teaching or educational instruction is a plus, demonstrating a commitment to student development.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with prospective students, parents, and colleagues.
