Director of DevOps

You must have solid experience managing different DevOps teams such as Solution Integration, Infrastructure, Information Management and Data/Application Support teams. The DevOps Senior Manager must have IT background that encompasses solid knowledge with computing infrastructure (on premise/cloud), networking, operating systems, databases, data and voice communications, telecommunications, data storage (on premise/cloud), disaster recovery strategies, and information security. An entrepreneurial person with a keen eye for efficiency and process improvements

Roles and Responsibilities
Responsible for developing, sustaining, and modernization of all of our client's integrations across all platforms and products
Managing our client's information management group who's in charge of developing, sustaining all information management assets (Databases, tools, processes) and BI reports used by internal and external stakeholders
Collaborate affectively with Operations teams
Manage Tier 2 and Tier 3 Data and Applications Support groups and work very closely with Operation and ServiceDesk
Managing the infrastructure and cloud services portfolio including Datacenter and Hybrid Cloud Services, Network Services, Service Desk and End User services, Service Management and IT operations management tools and services.
Identify and propose new opportunities and future roadmap for the Infrastructure services division aligned with the company vision including outsourcing and managed services
Implementing and supporting enterprise class high availability systems
Managing all aspects of infrastructure operations and the associated team
Manage and prioritize the day-to-day security operations across the organization
Prioritize, drive, and validate strategies and roadmaps for DevOps / Agile, Configuration Management, API and Infrastructure automation services, platforms, and technologies
Partnering with various stakeholders to facilitate excellent incident, problem, change, and asset management;
Conducting daily and weekly Scrum/Kanban ceremonies
Managing all enterprise level deployments
Reviewing and supervising configurations
Acting as they key contact for vendor management for all Infrastructure needs
Defining KPI's and SLA's in conjunction with the executive team, and ensuring appropriate service levels throughout the organization
Work very closely with the Director, Software Engineering teams to accomplish IT department objectives
Continuously monitor and assess team members skills, capacity to align with business needs
Participate in building IT budget
Assess department current state and provide future technology roadmaps

Qualifications and Experience
A seasoned IT leader currently at the Sr. Manager or Director level with 10+ years of technical expertise coupled with 5+ years of direct people management experience for a mid-size organization.
A formal Computer Science degree and relevant IT certifications (ex. ITIL)
A solid, well liked, people manager with multiple years of people management experience and capable of leading, coaching and mentoring Support/Database/Application Analysts, Systems Operators, System Admins and Service Desk Specialist employees to achieve their full potential and drive customer satisfaction.
Solid knowledge of Networking, Servers (Windows, Linux), Desktops, Telecommunications, Security and Service Desk expertise is required
Experience with Cloud, LAN/WAN (Citrix), Unified Communications/Telephony (CISCO), Microsoft Technologies, Storage/Back Up Technologies and Cyber Security would be ideal.
Ability to manage day-to-day operations of a high quality, multi-platform, multi-site technology infrastructure.
Experience with any of the Solution Integration Tools such as MuleSoft, BizTalk, IBM WebSphere, Oracle ESB
Understanding of SOAP, MQ Series, RESTful web services and architecture.
Knowledge with, J2EE/Java, is required
Knowledge of .NET, PHP, PL/SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Java Script, JQuery, design patterns and web frameworks is a strong asset.
Experience with reporting tools to generate dashboards / insights
Experience with managing enterprise class incident management tools and issue tracking systems (e.g. JIRA) and defining processes.
Experience in an agile & scrum/Kanban environment
Solid knowledge IT Processes, DevOps, incident, problem, change Management and KPI's required
Experience with IT Governance Management framework
Experience and exposure IT planning phases: Strategic, Portfolio, Product, Releases
Experience with Asset management and budgets
Excellent communication and documentation skills
