Key duties
-
Perform primary accounting functions in accordance with clearly defined procedures.

Provide professional, proficient service to external and internal customers.

Prepare correspondence via email or letter.

Verify accuracy of accounts, reconcile and investigate discrepancies.

Perform tasks based on provided training, reference documentation, and standard processes.
-
Determine financial valuations using manuals, tariffs, or other sources for pricing/investigation.

Identify procedure/process deviations for review.
-
Initiate primary/intermediate communication to investigate missing or incorrect data or documents.
Qualifications
-
Minimum three (3) years office experience;
-
Degree in progress in Accounting, Finance or related field, an asset;

Strong communication skills both written and verbal;

Strong customer service skills;
-
Ability to not just multitask but to also anticipate process before directed to do so;

Ability to run reports, analyze data and prepare spreadsheets;

Proficient with Microsoft Office tools;
-
Ability to work independently and in a team environment;

Ability to prioritize duties and use good judgement;

Bilinguism, an asset;

Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.
