Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of different makes of trucks. You must have experience changing clutches, transmissions, and differential parts. The position requires attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. We offer 4 or 5 day work weeks, no nights, no weekends, fully funded benefits package and top pay based on proven experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
· Certification: Valid Ontario 310T Truck and Coach Technician License (or Red Seal Interprovincial equivalent). Open to advanced 3rd or 4th-year apprentices.
· Experience: Previous experience in a commercial fleet or heavy truck maintenance environment.
· Driver’s License: Valid Ontario Class G driver's license with a clean driving abstract (Class D or AZ is an asset).
· Tools: Must own a complete set of mechanical hand tools appropriate for heavy truck repair.
· Skills: Proficient with OEM electronic diagnostic software and reading mechanical schematics.
· Attributes: Strong team-first mindset, proactive problem-solving attitude, and rigorous attention to safety details.
· Safety Inspections: Perform complete annual Ministry of Transportation (MTO) vehicle safety inspections according to provincial regulations.
· Preventative Maintenance: Complete routine lubrication, fluid changes, part replacements, and general system testing.
· Documentation: Fill out detailed work orders, document parts used, and log exact repair times.
· Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and strictly adhere to all occupational health and safety standards.

Pay: $38.00-$46.00 per hour
