Your Role
As an Account Manager, you'll be a hunter who prospects new business daily through strategic outreach. You will actively engage with 30-40 potential business clients per day within your territory to introduce TELUS solutions, qualify prospects, and close deals. You're not just a salesperson – you're a trusted advisor who will build relationships and help businesses thrive in the digital age. You'll leverage your passion for technology, creativity, resilience, and love of learning to exceed sales goals while providing real solutions from our comprehensive portfolio
Here’s how:
Hunt and develop new business through strategic territory management, in-field visits, and proactive outreach
Build a robust pipeline by connecting with prospective customers through a mix of in-person visits, networking, and business development activities
Deliver consultative solutions tailored to each business's unique needs, including internet, mobility, security, and cloud solutions
Cultivate long-term partnerships with clients who see you as their trusted technology advisor
Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets while maintaining a focus on customer success
Maintain accurate records in our CRM to track opportunities and customer interactions
Represent TELUS at networking events and own your territory like an entrepreneur
Qualifications
What You'll Bring
Hunter mentality and drive: you’re energized by high-volume prospecting, cold calling and door-to-door sales
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Resilience and coachability, open to feedback
Entrepreneurial mindset with genuine interest in technology solutions
Valid driver's license (field-based role with territory responsibility)
Comfort with autonomous field work and self-directed prospecting
Preferred (but we’ll train the right attitude):
1-2 years of B2B sales experience (door-to-door, field sales, outside sales or retail)
CRM experience (Salesforce or similar platforms)
Post-secondary education in business or related field
Experience in field sales, outside sales, or territory management
Background in technology, telecommunications, or SaaS sales

Salary Range: $41,000-$75,000
Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: $15,000-40,000
Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
