Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented General Labourer / Cleaner to join our team. This role involves providing cleaning services and performing general labour and handyman tasks at a variety of commercial properties. The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and well-maintained environments while supporting minor maintenance and repair work as needed.

Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial facilities, including offices, washrooms, common areas, and other workspaces.
- Clean and maintain floors, windows, furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning products and equipment.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Report maintenance issues, damage, or safety concerns promptly.
- Assist with the setup and teardown of furniture or equipment for special events or projects.
- Perform general labour and handyman duties, including minor repairs, inspections, and basic maintenance tasks.
- Safely lift, move, and transport equipment, furniture, and supplies as required.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure supplies are stocked and organized.
- Work independently or collaboratively to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, facilities maintenance, or general labour is preferred.
- Basic handyman or maintenance experience is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning products safely.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy objects, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation are considered an asset.
Pay: $17.60-$25.00 per hour
