Job Description
MK Auto Repair is urgently seeking an experienced and dependable 310S Licensed Automotive Service Technician to join and help manage our fully equipped automotive repair shop in Milton, Ontario.
The successful candidate will have strong diagnostic and repair experience, leadership skills, and the ability to oversee day-to-day workshop operations while maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues.
- Perform vehicle inspections, preventive maintenance, and general repairs.
- Repair and service brakes, suspension, steering, engines, exhaust systems, and other vehicle components.
- Use diagnostic scanners, tools, and shop equipment safely and effectively.
- Complete repair orders and maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
- Provide clear repair recommendations and communicate professionally with customers.
- Help supervise technicians, assign work, and manage daily workshop operations.
- Ensure work is completed efficiently and in accordance with industry and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario 310S Automotive Service Technician Licence is mandatory.
- Proven experience in automotive diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage workflow and support the daily operation of the workshop.
- Leadership or automotive shop management experience is an asset.
- Strong work ethic and customer-service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently.
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Must live within commuting distance of Milton or be able to reliably commute to the shop for all scheduled shifts.
