We are looking for a motivated and physically capable Rigging Associate to join our team. This is a shop-based manufacturing position focused on the assembly, preparation, handling, and inspection of wire rope products. This role is not a field rigging position; you will work in our facility in Rocky View Country supporting production, warehouse operations, inventory, and customer orders.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, comfortable working with tools and materials, and enjoys a mix of manufacturing and warehouse responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the manufacturing and assembly of wire rope products, slings, and related rigging components
- Measure, cut, prepare, and handle wire rope and associated materials
- Follow production instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures
- Perform product inspections and ensure orders are prepared accurately
- Receive incoming materials and verify shipments
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with stock organization
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Operate basic tools and equipment as required
- Support general shop and warehouse duties
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, or a similar hands-on environment is an asset
- Comfortable performing physical work, including lifting, moving, and handling materials
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic math skills for measurements and inventory counting
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move materials safely
- Comfortable working in a warehouse/shop environment
- Must be physically fit and able to perform hands-on tasks throughout the day

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
