Position Summary:
The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and guest service in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. This role plays a key part in delivering a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for all hotel guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards.
- Change bed linens and replace used towels and amenities.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize all required areas.
- Replenish guest room supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and towels.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost & found items to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow proper procedures for key control and security.
- Ensure carts and storage areas are clean and well-stocked.
- Maintain a friendly, courteous, and professional attitude with guests and colleagues.
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays.
Working Conditions:
- May involve standing or walking for long periods.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Fast-paced environment; may involve repetitive tasks.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
