Field Operations Supervisor

The Field Operations Supervisor is responsible for quality assurance oversight of our front-line security staff, as well acting as a representative of Paladin Management to our field staff and clients, as required.
This position is integral to ensuring continuity of Paladin service delivery success twenty-four hours a day, seven days per week. This is primarily achieved through effectively conducting quality assurance visits with our uniformed staff, ensuring necessary logistics and training are in place for Paladin special coverage requirements, as well attending situations at client sites to support staffing / client needs. This position requires full availability, as our Field Operations Supervisors work on rotations, both day and night shifts, in a 4 on / 4 off rotation.

  • Ensures that all front-line security officer services are delivered in accordance with Paladin’s polices, procedures, and best interests.
  • Conducts quality assurance visits with staff at regular and special coverage sites, and submits follow up reports through TEAM reporting app.
  • Provides necessary staffing and supervisory support to significant incidences at client sites; directly interacts with clients as necessary.
  • Identifies and carries out necessary logistics and training requirements for Paladin special coverage.
  • Provides motivational and disciplinary discussions with security staff, as necessary; conducts staff performance review and investigations, as required.
  • Submits daily operational reports to the Operations Supervisor prior to the end of each shift.
  • Maintain an excellent level of grooming and appearance as to set an example for field staff.
  • Ensures proper care of operation of fleet vehicles on a shift-to-shift basis; completes vehicle inspections report through Tracktik.
  • Performs other duties as requested to assist with Paladin needs.
  • A minimum of two years’ progressive experience with Paladin; supervisory experience is an asset
  • Ability to lead, plan, organize, delegate and problem solve
  • Valid BC driver’s license with a good driving record; driver’s abstract to be submitted annually.
  • Working knowledge in MS Office and ability to learn TEAM and Tracktik.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally
  • Completion of Paladin’s Supervisory skills training (LMS). INDNOT
