We are a growing Indian restaurant in Pickering, Ontario, and we are looking for reliable, hardworking team members to join our kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook Indian food according to restaurant standards
- Complete daily food preparation and ingredient prep
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation
- Wash pots, pans, and cooking equipment as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety procedures
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Assist with general kitchen duties as required
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of cooking/kitchen experience preferred
- Experience in an Indian restaurant is preferred
- Strong understanding of Indian cooking and food preparation is an asset
- Hindi-speaking is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
- Knowledge of food safety and proper kitchen sanitation
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
