Overview
We have an exciting new position as a Brand Manager at Wellmore, reporting to a Senior Brand Manager covering a maternity leave. The role is located at our VANCOUVER BC HEAD OFFICE or REMOTE CANADA - we are open to remote work for the right person!
You will be responsible for planning and execution of marketing plans to drive profitable growth on one of our wellness brands (Vega, Great Lakes Wellness, Jade Leaf Matcha, From Great Origins) in North America. Responsibilities include developing and executing marketing plans, analyzing consumer & market insights, driving portfolio renovation & innovation, leading marketing communication plans, and managing the brand P&L. This position works closely with all other departments in the company including Sales, E-Commerce, R&D, Regulatory, PMO, Finance, Operations, Communications, and Creative.

Key Responsibilities

Analyzes data, consumer research, and market trends to identify consumer and business insights and provides recommendations for business improvements

Develops, presents, and implements annual marketing plans and regular business reviews.

Champions innovation & renovation projects on the portfolio and works with various cross-functional departments to bring projects to life
-
Brief & lead marketing campaigns and packaging renovations with internal & external creative & communication teams (media, PR, shopper marketing, education) and work with legal and regulatory for approvals

Be an advocate for your portfolio and continuously drive growth & the P&L
Skills & Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in Business, ideally Marketing or general management focused

At least 4 years of experience in CPG Brand Management
-
Strong analytical and strategic thinking– you like to dig into the data and can synthesize it to pull apart the “so what,” and create an actionable recommendation (experience with consumption data an asset)[YG1] [GB2] [GB3]

Strong written, presentation and verbal communication skills with strong persuasion– you can command a room, make your point (even when it isn’t popular). Comfortable communicating across and up/down the organization to all levels.

Experience building marketing plans; outlining the strategy to grow your business or product and partnering with key stakeholders to develop the tactics

You are performance and results-driven and can take on a high level of responsibility and work in a fast-paced, highly competitive environment

Proven track record in balancing and multitasking between multiple immediate and long-term priorities, and execute strongly with attention to detail

You are comfortable problem solving & tackling a new problem or situation without all the information, established processes, or prescriptive guidance

You are an enthusiastic, engaging and proven leader. You’re able to lead & project manage cross functional teams to bring your vision to life.
